About

"Art must be an expression of love or it is nothing."
- Marc Chagall

As a native Nebraskan who also lived in Wyoming, Oregon and Nevada, I’ve always been drawn to the west.  The vistas, the largess and beauty of land and sky have always inspired me.  So too has Michigan, a family destination since I was born.  It’s water, dunes and woods live in my memory and will always be the truest standard of beauty for me.  I try to capture moments in both geographies - small moments that are big in scope.  Ones that are simple, but lasting.

I predominately work in acrylic on canvas and tend to prefer larger formats, although I’m also supplementing my portfolio with smaller pieces that translate more suitably to prints.  If you like my work, please visit my Contact page and send me a note.
